I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University. I see patients across the lifespan, meaning I treat all ages. In addition to my training in traditional psychiatric treatments with medication, I am also fellowship trained in integrative psychiatry for those looking for a more holistic approach. What I enjoy most in working in mental health is developing a relationship with my patients so that they can feel heard, educated, and empowered. I see myself as a guide and coach for you to find your best self. Too often, my patients tell me that previous providers stopped listening to what they were saying. Because of this, my #1 goal is to make sure that you feel listened to so that you feel in charge of your treatment.
I wanted a profession of helping others. The more I learned, the better I understood some of the deep hurts people suffer and the long-term problems these can cause. I’m a big believer in growth and a better future. I’ve worked in several areas, including intense mental health work. Each job, co-worker, and client has helped me become a better professional. Most of my interventions are a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-informed care. I am a certified clinical trauma professional, level 2.

Jonathan was incredible and very attentive! He was honest and genuine and made me feel like he really cares about the well-being of his patients. I have recommended him to a few other queer friends who are struggling with their mental health and could benefit from the flexibility of online Telepsychiatry.
